Android Question Newbie Question: drawing lines in the Designer

Hi all,

Complete B4A newbie. I did use VBA and VB6 decades ago....

I would like to put some relieved lines around a block of controls in the Designer. This was easy and idiot-proof in the VB days.. but there doesn't seem to be such a "control" in the Designer. I know I can draw the line using code but that's tedious.

Also.. am I correct in using a bunch of Labels for displaying information?

You can simulate a line in the designer by creating a narrow panel with 2 or 3 dips and assign it a color. Yes, you can use labels to display your information.
Label1.Text="Orly is new to B4A, but will be very good in no time"

Excellent, thank you, the narrow panels do work. Bit of an inconvenience, whenever I click them to change some property, the Designer makes them 20 dips high again.
