Nexus S NFC/RFID

Basic4android supports all devices running Android 1.6 or above.
For now the NFC feature is not supported. If you are familiar with Java then you can create a library that wraps this functionality. You will also need to configure the IDE to use the correct SDK (android-9 I believe).

NFC library is not yet available. However it is planned.
May I ask what do you want to do with NFC?

My application will use NFC to log the location. This is for QC (Quality Control) purpose. A NFC-tag is mounted at the wall in a room, the user will get displayed a form based an the info from the tag and has to check and answer the items (questions) on the form. The data is then transfered to an FTP-Server. With this app, in one case, the condition of the room after cleaning is recorded (food industry).
The tags may be also used in security or to record the condition of rental item returned. The form is automatically based on the info read from the NFC-tag. So the form is very flexible.
The NFC-Tag will make sure, that the user may not fake the checking and the data can be correctly processed in the Desktop-Application.

I've just ordered NFC tags from ebay. Once they will arrive (can take 2-3 weeks) I will add an NFC library.
