Android Question NineOldAndroids(Solved example included)

Hi!
I recently discovered this lib by Informatix and i've incorporated some of the features into my app but am stuck with one. I want to rotate a label about it's center, i've played with the properties but cannot find a solution. Any help or pointers? thanks Dave.

You need to set the Pivot point. There is a class i think called ViewHelper to do that.

Thanks for your reply thedesolatesoul I thought i would have to set the pivot point but it's how!.
I had a look at Viewhelper but that didn't help me. I'll keep playing.

You set the pivot to where you want to rotate around.
If you rotate around the Y axis,

    Dim n As noaViewHelper
    n.setPivotY(Label, Label.height/2)

And then rotate the Y property.

OK thedesolatesoul! I thought this would solve my problem ... but it dosen't. I've tried various ways but can't get it to rotate the about pivot point. I've sent a zip file of my tester, am I doing it right?

What is this line supposed to do:

AnimRotateY.InitializeFloat(Panel1, AnimRotateY.PROPERTY_PIVOT_Y, 0, 360, "")

You should use:

    AnimRotatY.InitializeFloat(Panel1, AnimRotatY.PROPERTY_ROTATION_Y, 0, 360, "")

I needed to use 'n.setPivotx' aswell to get the rotation I want.

More or less just need some fine tuning. The
noaViewHelper has given me alot to play with.

Thanks to thedesolatesoul I was able to solve my problem ... along the way I found other rotations which are in the example.
