Android Question No delete button?

For the first time using visual designer, I just noticed something. There is no Delete option in the contextual menu!

Now, Granted I always simply use the delete key on my keyboard. But I was occupied in a different position in my chair so I was using the mouse only at that point and noticed that.

Its not a big issue, but its kinda fundamental.

That blows away what I already have in the clipboard prior. so I would have to reverse a step which again, isnt a big deal. Its just weird.
