No response with HTTP on Smartphone

I have program which send a request to the Webservice and get repsonce from the service. This program works fine on the emulator but not working on the Smartphone.

I have tried FlickrViewer program which is available in the documentation. But the problem is same. (Works fine on emulator but error while running on Smartphone)

Please note that, Internet is working perfectly OK and i can browse the net properly.

Please help.
