Officially Google Play On Windows

Finally Google released Google Play on Windows.
This will make push for our B4A apps indirectly to distribute it in Windows.

Thanks but why they require solid-state drive for stroage. I don't understand.

I think for heavy I/O read/write operations

For heavy read/right the data is cached im memory, so the hard disk is not used all the time.

They may be using directstorage which I believe only ssd's can support.

There seems to be a drive towards "the next upgrade for users' computers" - it lets you imagine your old laptop is still "up-there" with them. I discovered recently that my tech guy makes "improvement" amendments to client's laptops by simply switching them to SDD. The price of these things here is getting exorbitant so its a cheap extention of life for 'Ol' Lappie' the poor dog.

My take is its nothing more technical than that (and - OS installs are starting to check if there is an SSD, and soon, I guess will stop installing otherwise).

If you search for any Apps you only get GAMES listet. Not a single App.

I could not find any Information on Apps you could use. Google is only telling about GAMES.
Selected Games to be honest.

There is no such info in the FAQ too.
