Thanks but why they require solid-state drive for stroage.
They have shares in SSD manufacturing (or they're acting as middle-men in the sales process)?

There seems to be a drive towards "the next upgrade for users' computers" - it lets you imagine your old laptop is still "up-there" with them. I discovered recently that my tech guy makes "improvement" amendments to client's laptops by simply switching them to SDD. The price of these things here is getting exorbitant so its a cheap extention of life for 'Ol' Lappie' the poor dog.
My take is its nothing more technical than that (and - OS installs are starting to check if there is an SSD, and soon, I guess will stop installing otherwise).
