Being 77 I have been around for most all of the computer revolution.
The BEAUTY of computers was always (given the right programming) they would always give you accurate, repeatable answers.
Companies are now spending hundreds of billions of dollars on computer systems that, (using testing metrics) at their best, are only accurate about 75% of the time.

But, as with autonomous driving, the adoption bar is at human result:cost level, not 100% perfection.

If AI delivers a better result for the same cost, or the same result for less cost, then using AI makes sense.

Even more so if AI delivers a better result for less cost.
