Many years ago it was configured like this and several members didn't like it as it is not standard UX in Windows.
As a B4X programmer, you come to appreciate and value efficiency and effectiveness over tradition.
IOW, nobody should care about "standard UX in Windows" if it in any way hampers app dev.
However, you could put an
"Open Designer" button on the
button bar. That at least prevents one from 1) having to select a tab that has code that loads a layout, and 2) scrolling to the top. A single-click button bar would do the trick nicely.
