Android Question Open Microphone directly

There are a couple of problems with this. First, it doesn't stay open the way it does when you open it form the keyboard, it waits until you are done talking and then closes and stuffs the text. It doesn't stuff the text and wait so you can add more.
Also the pause and resume events both fire.
What I was really hoping for was a way to open the keyboard AND then open the mike as if you had pressed the mic key from the keyboard. For many of us anymore it talk, then edit. I would really like to save the extra step of having to look at the keyboard to find the mike and open it.
