Android Question Overlay over the STATUS_BAR Android 8

I tried this system on android 5 6 7 ok
android 8 does not work for me
the status bar is not hidden or a black bar appears above it
There's a chance that it works on android 8
Android: targetSdkVersion = 22 ?

you use a custom status bar with the KIOSK mode
it's very important in my app

As far as i know it is not possible for non Kiosk apps to hide the Navbar anymore.
