Panel : when use it ?

In a multi page app scenario, where each page is handle by an activity, which is the role of the panel view?

A Panel view is a Container to which other views can be added to, an Activity is an app component.

I have used them to create popup panels that have more than 3 buttons. Using Msgbox2 is goods but I have needed more.

I have also created sliding panels for the look of a tabhost.
