You could put another transparent panel over the top of them.

Well that's the best guess I came up with, but it would also involve resizing it and it would block spinners in the panel

What task do you want to do when you capture the panel click ? Any chance of a screen shot ?

Yes, it is possible to intercept the touch also in the underlying panels

You can use TouchPanelCreator from ViewsEx for this. It is not trivial to handle the gestures correctly. It is used in B4XDrawer and CLVSwipe.
