Android Question PartialLock

Wish to ask a silly question. Sorry if someone has asked it beforehand:

If I use PhoneWakeState to call PartialLock to the phone and never call ReleasePartialLock afterwards, can the CPU be unlocked when I use ExitApplication or when the user terminates the app by removing it from the recent app list?

The partial lock will be released when the process is killed.

Note that most devices will not let your app run forever and will kill it at some point.
