Android Question Pedometer events

Hi all.

After implementing this example :

Is there another event than "Sensor_SensorChanged (Values() As Float)" to get the number of steps ?

This Sub only triggers after a dozen of steps and I would like to get the value without having to walk (at midnight to reset counter)

I don't believe there is another event, and you will have to keep track of the daily step count yourself by resetting the count at midnight.
Alternatively, you could use the Google Fit API to access the count. https://developers.google.com/fit/android/history#java

Just noticed this message at the above page:

The Google Fit APIs, including the Google Fit REST API, will no longer be available after June 30, 2025. As of May 1, 2024, developers cannot sign up to use these APIs.
