Android Question pedometer - how to avoid fraud? bumpy or yielding?

Hello guys, I want to make an app that calculates the distance walked, but I don't want to allow cheats, bumps, shakes and etc and count. is there any way to " mitigate " fraud ?

Use GPS to double-check the results from the reported pedometer distance.

GPS is the way to go.

If GPS is not available, it could improve by analyzing morphology/frequency domain feature difference on signals acquired from accelerometer, will increase false negative rate though.
