This is a question, which I should ask on technical forums

Can I use photo of politicians in my apps or Google will ban me?

Mumble...Mumble... writing this, it occurs to me that I could allow the user to enter the photos, then I should be quiet.

I believe any photos taken by a government employee during the course of their duties is automatically in the public domain.

Public domain. As long as you don't push any boundaries (like hate speech) you should be okay.

It depends on where in the world your app is used. I think in Italy is ok
