Android Question Play camera shutter sound

Hi

Anyone know how to play the standard camera shutter noise ?

I can't find it declared as a resource anywhere ?

I am trying to avoid bundling a sound file.

The camera system sound is located in /system/media/audio/ui

File name camera_click.ogg

I think you need to be rooted to access this folder.

This code does work on an unrooted device:

Dim mp As MediaPlayer
mp.Initialize
mp.Load("/", "system/media/audio/ui/camera_click.ogg")
mp.Play

Though it is safer to copy it and include it in your app.
