It's a tough one
@andymc !! A good listing does help - but it's a lot of work and inspiration...
I find it good to scribble down / doodle my ideas and then also try to be realistic on what I'm trying to convey... My skills are 'okay' but there's always lots to do and unfortunately it's a bit like painting the Forth Road Bridge... Once you've completed it, it needs redoing all over again..!
I've been sharpening up my Photoshop skills and various other packages. It's a whole heap of work on top of the coding!!
It brings a new found respect from me to the 'idiots' on The Apprentice - having to work to tight deadlines and making snap decisions about things highlights the numerous choices you have to make and ponder over to get something quite small and seemingly insignificant achieved!
Have you listed your Games on the Amazon Play Store? I find that increases installs by around 10-15% but it's a half decent increase for not too much extra effort (once set up!!). Although there is currently a bit of a disparity between the Amazon Play Store API requirements and the Google Play ones...
Good luck!
