Wish Please set targersdk default to 30 on B4A 11

Now google need new app set targetsdk to 30, so i think when create new project, please set it to 30 for default, old app when open old project will be <30

I think it's fair to assume that Google's store is the default target for most developers (using B4A). Not using it is most likely an outlier decision. (Not judging, just pointing out what I believe the majority is doing.)

My comment is taken from the posts I read on these forums from users who don't use google store, they surprised me, and that's why I commented that.

I think that part is just an oversight because when you clear everything in the manifest editor to reset, it defaults to 30 not 29.

Most bespoke developers don't use the play store as it is too restrictive. Our company pulled all our apps, and built our own app update method.

I agree with Jmu5667's comments because that is the feeling I have had when reading comments from other users in these forums.
We could do a survey, and see what the results are, if you are in favour of the idea

Your feeling is that the majority of the ~105 000 users (or at least the majority of the Android developers part of that 105k) on the forum produce apps that they make available by other means than the Play Store?

I seriously doubt that. I imagine this is a case of us having a very vocal minority, where perhaps the majority of THEM make their apps available by other means.

It's not really important to me either way, I was just surprised by your view. ?

(And if my theory above is correct, I imagine that vocal minority are most likely to actually answer a survey, so the result wouldn't really show very much.)

That's why I say it's a feeling, but I can't prove anything.

I believe that a survey, depending on the number of participants, can give valid results.

Why having it as default? As many people said, not everybody (and I am one of them) creates app that are posted on Google Play Store.
And it is not only that, I set it to a lower level, because of Google limiting some features in every newer SDK version.

B4A executable creates a b4xV5.ini file where different settings for the B4A are kept.
If anywhere, that's where the settings for the default targetSDK could/should be kept - so, anybody can decide what sdk version they want to use for their projects... You install the program on your computer, and you set it up to suit your needs - and then everybody is happy.

Yes.
All my apps is in the Play Store and the minSdkVersion is 22 (and not the default = 14).
When I create a new app, I need to change the min to 22 and the target to 30.

A configuration in the b4xv5.ini file to create a personalizated manifest will be nice.
