If the photo was taken in "Portrait" mode, it is seen in "Landscape" mode, is there any way to rotate it before assigning it?

It is very bad to make duplicate posts.

I also have a feeling that your question is not related to the resize and crop feature but rather to the way the camera stores the orientation information.
