Possible to combine widget into app apk

I know this is possible in Java but is it possible in b4a to combing a widget into my app apk?

I have an app where the user can download the companion widget from within the program. The widget and the app do not interact except for analyzing remote data. Instead of fighting the ftp problem I would like to combine the widget in with the app. So when the user downloads the app the widget comes along.
