Power detection

Hello,

Can anyone help me on how to detect in my program when the power is connected via USB in my car with 12V.
When connected to my computer I can check the registry for the 'cradled' value but when in my car it does not work.

I have searched the internet for a solution but found nothing.

I hop some one can hep me.

Look for PowerBatteryState in the demo for my http://www.b4x.com/forum/additional-libraries/3346-systemstate-library-wm-5-0-later.html. That status is definitely present and works on WM6.0 but I can't find a definitive statement on MSDN as to whether it is present on WM5.0 - I think maybe not but I don't have a WM5.0 device to test it on.

PowerBatteryState does work for WM5 with out problems.

I have also written a library
http://www.b4x.com/forum/additional-libraries/4686-powernotify-beta.html that might be useful.

If all your looking for is the battery state them SystemState is probably a better choice.
Mine has alot more information going through the events.

I wil try both ways in my program and I wil get back with the results.

It took some time but I now use the PowerNotify library in my program, it works fine.
So eww245, thank you for the help.
