Powersettings

Hi to all,

is it possible to set the power-settings by code? I want to set the "On battery power" to 5 minutes which is the maximum on my scanners.
And I also would like to know if there is a way to set the duration of the backlight.

Any tips are welcome.

yeah i´m in the right forum- i´m programming with basic4ppc too.

I use a modul from Derez setting the date by code and i´m looking for something similar for the powersettings.

Oh, sorry, I just had a look at your list of postings and guessed!

There are several libraries that deal with power status and settings but not, I think, those. Maybe you just have to find/guess at the registry settings involved and use the registry library?

Could you use a separate "keep-alive" program?

Try Reflection Lib... it can tap into the things that B4Ppc cannot directly tap into...
