Android Question Private Sign Key Password Error

Hey guys, I completed my first app, uploaded it (felt very accomplished) and everything. I save my key file as instructed. However, the password I think I used to create the file is incorrect. Is there anyway to recover the password for my key file? If I cannot, what other options do I have for my app please? Thank You.

The IDE stores the password and show it when you open the sign key dialog. If you have already entered an incorrect password and closed the IDE then the password cannot be retrieved.

Try to guess the correct password. The only other option is to submit a new app with a different package name.

Thanks Erel, I rebuilt my PC so I'm guessing I'm all out of luck. I have a password folder with all the passwords, but none seem to work.
So I can change the package name, but leave the app name as is, then re-submit?
