Android Question Problem with AVD in new trial installation

Hi, can anyone help. I have installed java, android sdk then B4a. I run the avd and find there are no devices to use. When I try to create a device the 'OK' button stays greyed out (unusable) whatever I have tried entering. When I go to device definitions I can edit devices but they never become available to use. Hence I cannot get an emulator. I have got bridge working but, needing the software for the school where I teach, I actually need the emulator.

What have I done wrong?

Android emulator is slow and unreliable. I recommend you to use a VM such as Genymotion instead.
