Android Question Problem With B4A B4I B4J

It appears since upgrading I am getting the following problems:

on open - "the type initializer for d6 threw an exception"

on new project - "an error occured. The innvocation on the constructor type "actiprosoftware.windows.control.syntaxeditor" that matches the
specified binding constraints threw an exception"

This is without any source code loaded. It is a problem with the software itself.

Happens this with all three platforms? B4A - B4I - B4J?

I would try to update MS .Net Framework and then, if this is not enough, reinstall b4x tools.

have you updated your -NET framework?
Microsoft .Net Framework 4.0+ is required. If you are running Windows XP then you should install .Net Framework 4.0: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=17851

Thank you for your suggestions. The same or higher .Net framework (ie > 4) is already installed. This problem has just started happening was working fine until I upgraded B4I. I am using windows 7 x64.
