Problem with GetPixel

Dear Sirs
I need to read the color characteristics of the image. In particular, the image format, PNG24, all pixels that have color RGB (83, 99.29), however, when reading using the GetPixel, I get that the original image has two different colors - (82, 97, 24) and (82, 101, 33), both using the emulator, and in the Iconia Tab A501. The same pattern is observed in the analysis of the same image in different formats (bmp, jpeg etc.) In other words, it appears that the method GetPixel does not correctly read the colors.
The theme is attached a small application that demonstrate this fact.
Maybe someone faced with this effect and found his explanation?

You are using InitializeSample to load the image:

bmp.InitializeSample(CopyFromAssets("24.png"), "24.png", x1,y1)

This method scales down the image. Have you tried loading the image without any sampling?

Yes, I tried
bmp.Initialize(CopyFromAssets("24.png"), "24.png")
This gives the same result

Note that you do not need to copy the file from the assets folder. You can open it directly.

I don't have an explanation for this issue. GetPixel simply calls the native getPixel method.

OK, it is a problem... Java's PixelGrabber work correctly...

I think, the only way - convert into RGB_565
