I puzzle for some time at the following task: I want to display in my MP3-app the peak level of the currently playing song.
In the attached example, I get values. The problem is, that the obtained peak values are dependent on the volume setting on the smartphone. This I had (clever as I am) balanced by a factor. But it turned out that the factor was only good for my first testfile (test-89.mp3). For the other two files with 75dB and 100dB other factors valid. Now would I know, of course, not before, which dB value of each played song have. Has Anybody ideas how I regardless of settings get real values?
