Android Question Programmatically open title bar to open menu.

I use a button to open the application menu so, until now, I hide the title bar and open the menu with my button.

On latest android version (Tablet Samsung A8) the menu don't open if title bar is hidden.

So my choice is to open programmatically the title bar then call the menu or change to other menu manage.

Are there other options?
