iOS Question Qustion regarding B4I

Hi all

I have been using B4A for some years .
And now i want to try out B4I.

But ..

Can i some how push data from a server to B4I app ??
Or can i have somekind of backround thread as tcp server ?

Or are there any other way of doing this in B4I ?

I have seen that i can setup a mac as builder
And if i get it right , if i have my own server i dont need Apple dev account . ?

Is it possible to install app on other iOS units then my phones ?

Yes, in the same ways that it is done in B4A.

No. You must have a developer account if you want to install an app on a real device.

Is it possible to install app on other iOS units then my phones ?

Yes, but only on devices that are listed in the provision profile. There can be up to 100 devices total.

I was reading some in the guide

If i get my own apple computer and setup the builder my self then i do not need an appale dev account .

Then i need a B4I and the 59$ choice

I can have an Apple MacBook 15
Core I7 8Gb SSD with Sierra installed

Is that useable for this ?

Is that the best way to start ?

Yes.

If i get my own apple computer and setup the builder my self then i do not need an appale dev account .

You can use the simulator without a developer account.
You can install your app on a real device without an account however it will require you to use Xcode to deploy the app (without the ability to debug) and the app will stop running after a few days.
It is not recommended.

So now i have payed for my Apple Dev account 99$ and i have payed for B4i 85$

So now i have some hours infront of my pc tonight
