Android Question Re-aquanting myself with compiler

Have had a Basic4PPC app running for 3 years. Worked great. Now that I need to make a change, I bought the upgrade just offered. Questions are ....

• When I used the previous version, it created a file that could be just copied over to the device. From what I have gotten from all the help files, it appears you must be connected to the device. Doesn't make sense for those distributing/selling. Please point me to where I am going wrong.
• The bridge talks about Bluetooth and WiFi connections, but does not show USB as an option. Where do I establish a connection with a USB.
