Reading ESRI Shape files.

Anyone have experience reading Shape files with B4A?

Guys, you would need to use ShapeLib to read shapefiles. I think there is a version for Android but probably not readily usable with B4A.

Does it have to be shapefiles? I have a functional wrapper of the Esri ArcGIS Android SDK but it requires ArcGIS Server in the back end.

@tchart I have a solution for this where i wrapped the splite-android library and used it's built in methods to import Shapefiles to a (spatialite) database table.

Nice work! I would be interested in seeing your splite-android library.

I was holding off sharing my Esri Android SDK library until 10.2 was released but the release has been pushed out to later this year.
