Hello,
I've got a really old B4a program that was probably written about 2012.
It uses Activity.AddMenuItem(). Remember that?
Ages ago, what is now the Recent Tasks button used to be the Menu button. It became the Recent Tasks button and a long click would simulate the Menu command.
This program is only for my own use. I run it on a Samsung Tab S5e. Samsung recently updated the UI and there is no longer any sort of menu button functionality that I can find.
I really don't want to update the program. Does anyone know a trick to get the old Menu button functionality? There is only one item I need on the menu so I'm thinking the easiest thing to do might just be to add a dedicated fixed button for that one item. Any other ideas?
Barry.
