Android Question Recommendation request: Commercial grade image creation tools

I'm look for a decent and easy-to-use stand-alone image editing tool to create all necessary images, including app icon-icon.png, to publish my first app. It can be free or with a fee. By the way, I'm not good at graphic, creation or editing, that's why I'm looking for something without steeple learning curve.

I don't use Android Studio, therefore the included Image Asset Studio is out of the question.

A lot of you have done that many times already, so I'm sure you have some very good advices for me based on your experience.

I use Paint.Net https://www.getpaint.net/index.html

I also use FastStone Image Viewer https://www.faststone.org/FSViewerDetail.htm which, as well as being a great viewer has a good set of photo image editing functions and can convert images to several formats.

Both are free.

I use PhotoFiltre 7 http://www.photofiltre.com/
The free version is still powerful to make professional images.
