Reconstruct source code from .bas file - possible?

Hello,

I accidentally deleted one of my project folders with an important B4A project.

Unfortunatelly, I realized that only after several months and don't have a backup (at least none of the last version). A PC recovery tool helped to find the lost files, but couldn't reconstruct all of them properly.

As the .b4a file is corrupt, my question is: Is it possible to reconstruct the source code from the .bas files or any other files/ways?

I tried to "Add existing module" with these .bas files, but that failed with an error message.

Thanks for your help.

Best regards,

Carsten

Hi,

Can u open them in a text editor?

Unfortunately, not.

They look like binary files in a text editor.

Seems that these files are also broken...

Is there a chance to decompile the APK file?

Best regards,

Carsten

If the APK file was compiled in debug mode or with a debug key you may be able to recover the b4a source from the java files in the apk.
