B4J Question Release Package file size

Using the built in Packager for a fairly simple App I find the exe and folders that have to be sent with it are far too large to email. Even Zipped the file is 33Mb Does that sound correct or am I including files I don't need

This is the expected size and it isn't really affected by your code size. The package includes an embedded Java runtime engine.

Will have to rethink how I distribute it, rather a shock coming from years of using C and Assembler.

Presumably the Android and Ios versions, when I have figured how to do them will not require the Java runtime.

You can use Java 8 and release the compiled jar. It will be small and the user will be able to run it with a double click, assuming that Java 8 is installed on the client computer.
