Hi

One of my B4A app is about 5-6 years old already. During the past 4 years or so, I was mostly doing B4J apps, and I didn't follow much of what happened with B4A & Android. With this recent requirement of updating the TargetSDK, I want to take this opportunity to give a fresh new look, modern, to my app. I want to rewrite it from scratch.

What is the recommended way of making nice UI these days? I would need Navigation Drawer, Floating Buttons... etc... So I have found that:

Is there something newer or more modern than that (seeing that this date back to 2015)?

Thank you for your help.

Hi There,

My personal experience I share here.

When I re-design/design (and I do not have the services of an agency with UI designers for my client - usually large corporates) I usually do the following:

I look at Google like this (Example Link)
then I pick an image that I like and visit that website (Example Link)

I also make extensive use of Pinterest and search for UI Design - and there are plenty of ideas as well.

Using PowerPoint or Gimp, I create my icons, graphics, headers, footers, backgrounds and splash screen to incorporate into my app as per the direction I have chosen.

Hope this helps a bit.

Enjoy !!
