iOS Question Remote compiler timeout

Hello,

I know this is a well known issue. But even by checking (Prefer Secondary) in Server Settings, i still have a time out on the hosted builder compiler...
Help?

PS: Using B4i 5.81

There is no such "well known issue".
If you are compiling a large project or the network is slow then you need to increase the timeout (Tools - IDE options - Process timeout).

My current process timeout is 60, i've pushed it to 120 seconds. I compiled yesterday very well, made no changes and this morning the timeout occurs.

On a side note, i had a pending windows update.
I installed the update and restarted my computer.

When re-opening B4i, the IDE forgot all my Paths JAVAC and ADDITIONAL LIBS.

I tried again as you asked, i have a ConnectFailure instead of a TimeOut.

Do it again. If it doesn't work then restart the IDE.

Both builders are working fine. Probably a network problem on your side.

It works now. But it makes no sense.
I installed 6.30 thinking it would fix this. It didnt at first until i figured that all my info were once again deleted from the IDE.
In resetting everything back as it was on my v 5.81 it now works.
Something went wrong somewhere...

I figured the problem.
The IDE totally forgets my Server Settings when i start b4i "sometimes".
So the user id is wrong is b4i_default, Hosted Builder is not checked...

This means that something is deleting the ini file. Maybe an over-aggressive anti virus.
