RichTextBox - is it possible?

I need to convert a vb6 app to Basic4ppc, targetted at an IPaq 3970. The vb6 stuff uses RichTextBoxes to display text where each character could be a different font. Is there a way to implement this in b4ppc?
My app is a heiroglyphics translation thingy where users will select 'pictures' of heiroglyphic characters and the app will return the English equivalent.

If you need a Richtextbox on the device you're out of luck. Unfortunately Microsoft does not include this control in Windows Mobile. There are some commercial controls available.

Alternatively you could have a look at Agrahams's http://www.b4x.com/forum/additional-libraries/3955-htmlpanel-rich-text-device.html which brings some Rich text features to the device but HTML is being used.
