B4J Question Run Once

This is a complicated question as I don't know how how to ask it the right way. I have a Non_UI (no designer) and the URL is beta.grok6.com. When I open a new Tab I want populate a textbox with previous data, if it exist - which would works great. But the textbox refreshs automatically (ever so often) and if I take to long - the new text is replaced with the original text by the refresh cycle. The current app avoids this by requiring a click event to load the textbox but it would be much better if the textbox would populate when opening a new tab and not refresh until I want it to. Any help would be appreciated.

Where and what is (what View) that "Tab"? Your Android client app?

Please click the URL beta.grok6.com - make sure your browser allows pop-up for the site
Click the button "Enter the Village of Grok" Leave the Login and PWD blank
Select the ListBox Item "Gilligan's Island" at the bottom of the screen. A new tab will appear with a building in the background - you should also see a button called "Notes". Click it you should see "Select your favorite character from the Blue background list below." in a light yellow textbox below. Now edit the textbox by adding some text and wait a moment or two and you will notice your edits are replaced with the original text of "Select your favorite character from the Blue background list below." as B4J refreshes the page/tab ever so often.

How can I stop the textbox from being refreshed?

Hey, this is not the default behavior of b4j, how are you making the page ? html? server handler? web socket?

Are you using javascript??
