I'm not familiar with any issue related to resumable subs and non-ui apps.

This link (https://www.b4x.com/android/forum/threads/resumable-subs-wait-for-sleep-in-server-handlers.81833/) is not an issue. It explains how to start the message queue in order to use resumable subs.

Sadly it wont work with ABPlugin for any reason,
If i do it like in your explanation i get the error:

B4X:

StartMessageLoop called from wrong thread.

as I have described here

the JobDone event never raise.
Maybe you have another Solution for my special Problem

Why does the code run on a different thread? It will cause other issues in UI apps.

I dont know how this Lib Works

But i think it acts like a wrapper wich only call the sub inside the Plugin (wich is actualy a B4J library)


I ziped a minimal project witch should show my Problem.
It contains the Mainapplication, the Plugin and the ABPLugin Library aswell

After looking in the source code, I think that the problem is that ABPlugin is initializing your class on a different thread.

So it won't be possible in the current state to solve my problem and I have to stay at a UI application?

Edit:
Could this Workaround work?:
The Plugin parse only the URL to the Mainapplication.
The Mainapp download the data and give it back to the Plugin.

The correct solution is to ask the library author whether it can be fixed.
