I am trying to save and then restore the status of all views after any interruption specifically orientation. I am saving between every module and have tried to restore in create, pause and resume yet most views are still resetting. I may be wrong but it appears that the activity is still restarting after I try to restore the states. Any suggestions on when or where I can restore the states?

The states being whether visible, enabled and so on. The current state of the views properties.
I saw statemanager and it is does what I am seeking to do which is returning view properties to the status they were at interrupt but it is specific to user interactive views and not imageviews and labels. Saving the information in a file and then restoring the properties was recommended in one of the statemanager threads. That is what I am trying to do but I am either trying at the wrong time or in the wrong way and in need of help.
