Hi,

I get the impression that on my HTC Touch Diamond 2 all background processing stops when the power off button is used. An own written program to intercept incoming messages does not react in the power off state. Does a possibility exist just to darken the screen, in order to safe power?

Hi, Yes it's possible, when the device is in sleep mode all the task are in pause...
But you can just switch off the brightness/screen, the Hardware.dll lib may do this I think...

Hi Sitayoni,

Unfortunately the hardware lib has no ScreenOff method, but only a ScreenOn method.

Yes exact, sorry...
I don't know how switch off the screen...
Maybe I'll get more information in few minutes...

Did you check the PowerNotify library?
