Android Question SearchTemplate resizing question

When i set
SearchTemplate.Resize(100%x, 100%y):

the search editbox does not resize and has missing check and x labels. How do i fix this? I have been messing around and can't figure it out yet.

Geez. Im brutal. I needed to type something to show the x and check label. But the editbox won't resize to 100%x.
