Android Question Sending text messages from B4A

I've written some apps in B4A but I now want to consider a new app that can send text messages.

Firstly, is this possible from B4A from within an app ?

What happens if the user has no coverage, does Android queue it up and keep retrying, or is it like IOS that annoyingly requires the user to click retry ?
