No. I hadn't noticed such downtime. Did you see it while browsing the forum?

The server is being upgraded. More RAM and CPUs.

Yep, the CDN wasn't reachable for at least five minutes. So all user avatar images were gone. I just assumed you did some maintenance.

Wow! It's much faster! Every time I selected "Your content" I had to wait not a few seconds; now it's almost instant.

Strange. I made a coffee, went out for a minute and it disappeared.

The speed boost is truly impressive!

It runs on SSD for a long time.
I think that the big difference is from the increased memory. Previously is used the swap all the time, which is much slower.

Most likely if Erel deleted 30% of my posts (the oldest) the site would increase its speed by another 10% ?

The trouble is that now I expect to see the other sites faster too (for example emails) and this is not the case; I must remember that I have not changed PC or connection! ?

"Speaking" (writing) more seriously... Erel, if you want to delete the first 100 or 150 pages of the Italian thread "Chiacchiericci" do it, it is only our "Chit Chat".

I don't think that it has any effect on performance. It is also not simple to delete a range of posts. I can delete the complete thread and you will start with a new one.
