I searched the forum but I did not come up with any results. I searched also in Google but the search produced no satisfying results. My device is Samsung Galaxy SM-J730F and when I try to connect to the internet from a service when the phone is asleep, most of the times I am not able to do this. The device is android 7.0 and I added the application to the exceptions of battery management as some posts on google suggested but with no luck until now. I have not a battery management application and the antivirus installed is AVG. To my knowledge all the settings of energy management in the antivirus are not blocking the connectivity. Very rarely the service connects to the internet... I was not able until now to spot the conditions for success or failure. So I am asking if anyone else has tested the internet connectivity from a service when their phone is asleep and if they ever faced a problem with it how did they overcome it... Until now I only tested it in WiFi...
