Android Question setting value of EditText

hi ,

how i can i set value of EditText of Activity from Service file.

example .

I am doing a registration activity screen . I am intercepting the SMS through the services. Now the received SMS i want to show in this current screen. So How can I do that. I am able to retrieve the SMS.

Create a sub in activity, call it from service and pass value. In sub set value text1.text=param1

If you want to start activity

StartActivity(Main)

and call your sub with

CallSub2(Main,"SMS_Received",sms)

if you use :

CallSubDelayed2(Main,"SMS_Received",sms)

you are sure that activity is started before execution and you don't need StartActivity
