Shouldn't we be more patient to new members?

A new member which might be irritated now. We all started here with "stupid" questions (like I still do from time to time). My opinion: We should be more patient to new mebers.

Having been on the receiving end of some short and rude responses by the chosen few leaders of this forum, I think the overall tenor of the site needs to change. If your burnt-out then don't post unless absolutely necessary!!!! Rudeness pisses me off, I have plenty of experience, just not in this language

similar to Dutch "plain speaking"

but I agree that sometimes niceties and nuances can be mangled lost in translation
